Zimbabwe joined rest of the world in commemorating the International Children’s of Broadcasting(ICDB), on Sunday.
Zbc provided an opportunity for children to feature in a live television programme.
Nyaradzo Munzeiwa a grade five(5) learner with Horizon Group of Schools based in Cold Comfort, was among few learners to feature in the programme that inspired many children at home. Later during the day the kidsnet programme also featured on the main news.
Despite being on television for the first time, she was able to convince the world in eloquent style. The majority of her age struggles interms of appearing on television. This however depends with the way schools mould their learners.
For Nyaradzo, never disappointed her school but set as an epitome for many children across the country.
This publication made a follow-up in checking level of excitement from the girl child.
According to Nyaradzo, featuring on a live television programme is the most beautiful engagement in her life.
“At first I was nervous because it was my first time to appear on national television. However, I later gained confidence after realising the strength in myself.”
Nyaradzo expressed herself in great eloquence among other learners.
Apart from this, Nyaradzo has a passion to become a music artist as she also expressed herself in singing.
“This was the most beautiful moment in my life. This also strengthened my future prospects in music,” she added.
Memory Nyabadza, Nyaradzo’s teacher in an interview expressed excitement over the participation of her learner on the International Children’s Day of Broadcasting(ICDB). She sees a brighter future for Nyaradzo.
“Nyaradzo is a confident and an intelligent girl. The exposure granted to her will help in strengthening and nurturing her talent. ”
