Govt maintains dates for the opening of the schools nationwide following the relaxation of COVID-19 lockdown on 1 March 2021.
Lessons for he examination classes commenced on Monday 15th 2021 with rest of the learners resuming on the 22nd this month.
Amid all this, government has emphasized upholding of standard operating procedures ahead of the schools opening.
“Cabinet noted that preparations for the opening of schools have reached an advanced stage with examinations classes having as opened scheduled on 15 March 2021. Non-examination classes will open on 22 March 2021 as scheduled. Standard operating Procedures are being emphasized, particularly regarding the availability of potable water at every school,” Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister said during Press Cabinet Briefing on Tuesday.
