The Russian leader President Vladimir Putin will is set to remain the leader for the next two terms.
This follows his recent signing a law to allow himself serve other two terms as the President of Russia. He is set to rule until 2036.
The 69 year old Putin is 69 is currently serving his fourth presidential term, which was set to end in 2024.
However, the annunciation of the new legislation on Monday, could possibly allow him to serve additional terms of decides to stand for and win reelection both times.
The new law comes after the results of 2020’s referendum on amendments to Russia’s constitution.
