Following the relaxation of COVID-19 lockdown recently, the government has allowed reopening of restaurants’s sit-ins. This will be allowed to carter for the maximum of 50 people.
Apart from this restaurant operators are expected to uphold the standard operating procedures in light of COVID-19 guidelines.
The development was issued during press briefing by the government on Tuesday.
“Restaurants are now allowed to open for sit-ins at 50% sitting capacity, under strict adherence to COVID-19 guidelines. Those found breaking the restrictions will be closed immediately,” said Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services.
